The Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors (SEVRAR), announced today that they're handing out a little web-browsing device to their associated Realtors™.The device is called "PocketSurfer". It's a handheld computer that simply provides a web browser, so that agents can get online anywhere outside, and browse listings, get into the MLS, or pretty much browse any website they want. It even provides access to their e-mail, and can even get them access to their desktop PC at the office.
The PocketSurfer is able to connect to the Internet through the use of cell phone. It communicates wirelessly with the cell phone through Bluetooth® technology. Likewise, only cell phones with Bluetooth® support can work with the PocketSurfer.
Duane Washkowiak, President SEVRAR's Board of Directors said, "...we are constantly on the watch for tools which will help make our members more effective in the field working with clients, and we want to partner to save money with vendors for our members." He adds, "This tool to access MLS helps to meet that goal."
