Get New Leads While On The Go

Friday, August 26, 2005

The Auburn Journal reported today that a new technology is changing the way that Coldwell bankers in Northern California are receiving their leads. The service is called LeadRouter and it basically takes an online inquiry from a potential buyer or seller and converts it into a voice mail message that is sent to the Realtor's cell phone. The service will also route it to another agent if the first agent it tries is not available! Realtors equipped with this technology are able to respond very quickly to online leads - without even using a computer.

I think that this technology is important as many home seekers are utilizing the Internet to research the homes that they are interested in. Often times, Realtors are very busy out in the field and do not have the time (and sometimes the ability) to check email messages. When a potential home buyer is not responded to quickly, they will email or call another agent until their needs are met. By having a service that allows an agent to use just his or her cell phone to respond to all types of leads (phone and Internet/email) they can handle more customers and their customers will be more satisfied.
